This versatile flour brings together the perfect mix of nutrition - High in protein and fiber while being low in carbs. Can be kneaded with buttermilk to make fresh, soft rotis or can be mixed with hot water to make a batter for some low carb dosas!
How to prepare:
1. Mix 100g flour with 60-65ml warm buttermilk and salt to form dough.
2. Divide the dough into small, equal-sized balls.
3. Place a sheet of parchment paper directly onto the bottom plate of the Roti press.
4.Take one dough ball and place it in the center of the parchment paper.
5. Fold the parchment paper over the dough ball (or place another piece of parchment on top).
6. Gently and firmly press the roti using the rolling press lever until it forms a thin, even circle.
7. Carefully peel the pressed roti off the parchment paper.
8. Transfer the pressed roti to a hot pan (tawa or griddle).
9. Allow the first side to cook for about 30–60 seconds, until small bubbles appear.
10. Dip your silicone brush into the oil or ghee and lightly brush on both the sides.
11. Let the roti cook on both sides, flipping as needed
